Light Christian Academy recognizes that good nutrition and regular physical activity affect the health and well-being of all students. We understand that there can be a positive correlation between a student’s health and well-being and his/her ability to learn. And, we know that the school can play an important role in the developmental process by which students establish their health and nutrition habits. Light Christian Academy is committed to creating school environments that promote and protect the overall well-being of all students and staff. The guidelines listed in our Wellness Policy encourage a comprehensive wellness approach that is sensitive to both individual and community needs.
If you have any questions about Light Christian Academy’s Wellness Policy or have an interest in participating in our School Health Committee, please contact the school office.
