Required monthly memorization passages for Union County students
2023-2024 Monthly Scriptures
LCA students study and memorize a selected scripture passage each month. The passage is read aloud in the class every morning as part of opening exercises. Students who memorize each monthly passage will earn a trophy at the end of the year. Students who do not memorize the scripture during the month are permitted to say the scripture later to become eligible for the Scripture Memorization award.
Memorizing the monthly passage is expected of all students, and teachers may issue detention to students who choose not to memorize the monthly passage.
